The Govt. of West Bengal claims that this WB E District project has been planned for effectively providing all the citizen-centric services to the citizens through computerised mode under one umbrella.

1.WB E District- Domicile Certificate(Local Residence)
Eligibility & Cost: To receive domicile certificate(Local Residence) you need to be a resident of West Bengal. This service is provided by the Govt. free of cost. The entire process is free.
What documents do you require?
- Residential Proof: Documentary Evidence of Residential Land, Residential Certificate issued by S.D.O, Documentary Evidence of Rented House (Photocopy of Land Deed/Khatiyan/Rent Receipt Copy);
- Identity Proof: Defense ID Card/Pan Card/Govt. ID Card/Passport/Driving License/Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC)/Ration Card, Photocopy of Gorkha certificate issued from D.G.H.C, Certificate by Gram Panchayat Pradhan/Certificate from MLA/Certificate from MP, Attested photocopy of call letter issued from Army/BSF/CRPF/CISF/SSB/ITBP/EFR;
- Birth Proof: Admit Card for Secondary Examination/Photocopy of Birth Certificate;
- Photograph: One Attested Passport Colored Photograph.

The login process is very simple and user friendly. You just need to follow the steps one by one. In this section, you will see how to login to E District WB Portal for submission of application for availing domicile certificate.
Step-1: First you need to visit the WB E District West Bengal website as given here WB E District Login Page
Step-2: Now you should click on the Citizen Registration section as shown below.
Step-3: Now you put the few details such as your name, mobile no. and email id as shown in the picture below.
Step-4: Now you put a few details such as your name, mobile no. and email id as shown in the picture below.
Next, you would receive one OTP from the EDistrict page in your registered mobile(may take 5 minutes to come) and submit this. Now you are registered and ready to take required service.
Step-5: Now search for the Domicile Certificate option in the search bar of the services as shown below.
Step-6: Now the details for domicile certificate page would open and you need to put all the relevant information correctly as shown below.
After providing all the details as shown above, now you have to go to Save & Next.
Step-7: Now the E District West Bengal page will ask you to provide information such as your parent details, permanent address, Educational qualification, details of stay of last 15 years.
So, finally, after putting all the relevant details you will be asked to submit your application. Kindly save the application no, so that you can track the status of your application very easily in future.
2.WB E District- Income Certificate
Eligibility & Cost: To receive an income certificate you need to be a resident of West Bengal. Also, this service is completely free of cost. The Govt. does not charge you any fee from you.
What documents do you require?
- Residential Proof: Residential Certificate issued by S.D.O/EPIC/ Passport/ Driving License/ Ration Card/Govt. Id card/ Defence ID Card/Pan Card;
- Income Proof: Salary Certificate, Income Proof from Gram Pradhan/ Municipality Councilor, IT Return Certificate;
- Photograph.

The login process is very simple and user friendly. You just need to follow the steps one by one. In this section, you will see how to login to E District WB Portal for submission of application for availing domicile certificate.
Step-1: First you need to visit the WB E District West Bengal website as given here WB E District Login Page

Step-9: Finally the WB E District login portal would ask to go to Save & Next. Thereafter you will be asked to submit the application. Now save the application no. for future status tracking of your application.
