HRA declaration refers to the House Rent Allowance declaration to be submitted by any kind of Government Servants serving in India whether under Central Govt. or State Govt. or PSU.

What is HRA Declaration Form?

Every year January and July a Govt. servant is mandatorily required to declare the amount of House Rent Allowance he/she is eligible to draw considering he/she is Married/Unmarried, whether residing in any Govt. accommodation or payment of rent per month(if residing in any rented accommodation )including his spouse’s per month Pay(If married).

One must keep in mind that submission of this HRA Declaration Form is not a choice rather it is an obligation of a Govt. Servant irrespective of his/her marital status.
